Be Constructive: Blogs, Podcasts, and Wikis as Constructivist Learning Tools
http://www.elearningguild.com/pdf/2/073106DES.pdf

This article relays the benefits of using Blogs, Podcasts and Wiki's as teaching tools. These tools are cost effective and provide a collaborative learning environment for students.

These online learning tools provide authentic feedback and promote active learning. They also create social communities for learners.

I agree when the author states that "online learning is leaning towards a constructivist pedagogy in which collaborative learning takes an important role." Blogs, podcasts, and wikis require their users to construct their own content which is essential to the constructivist learning theory.
