Wikis in the classroom

This video demonstrates the benefits of using wiki's in the classroom. Wiki's are a great organizational tool, The students know exactly where to go to find their assignments. Wiki's are also interactive and allow the teacher to post multimedia. What the students seemed to like the most was that the Wiki allowed them time to gather their thoughts before they respond to a discussion, and everybody gets a chance to share their opinion.
