Linda Starr (2003). How Teachers View Technology, Education World.

This article is basically the summary of a survey given to teachers on how they view the use of technology. A majority of teachers believe that technology is a valuable part of the learning experience, and it makes teaching easier.
I was surprised at the amount of positive feedback given the number of "older" teachers surveyed (who would not have used technology in the classroom for most of their teaching careers).

Hi Cherise...it has been my experience that older teachers are often most adventurous...partly because they are looking to enrich their work which after a number of years might look a bit rote ;-) and they are often such good content experts that they can concentrate on the technology when a younger teacher might be more focussed on the content and if not permanent, keeping the job...good thoughts...D
