These two lesson plans appealed to me because they are simple in design and practical to implement. The first lesson is teaching website design by using front page. As a teacher I would need to instruct my students on the use of front page and basics of html before implementing this lesson. The second lesson is a webquest to teach students about the elements of art and design. The webquest is well designed and would be very easy to incorporate into a unit plan.

I would rate this lesson as a Level 2 on the LoTi scale. I chose this rating because the use of technology in this lesson is only for information gathering and presentation. The students research an author on the internet and then create a powerpoint presentation about their artist.
To increase the rating on the LoTi scale I would add a webquest that asks the students specific questions that would require them to analyze the works of the artist, or solve a problem (e.g. All the painting in a gallery were stolen and patrons are expecting to see colorful landscapes! What artist would you chose to create more painting for the gallery) that would focus the task on higher order thinking and increase the LoTi level to a 3
